Main tasks under this assignment are:
- Designing and implementing an energy survey.
- Establishing a national energy system, including a national energy database, a national energy balance, and energy indicators, using the data collected under the survey.
- Incorporating a MRV system to enable tracking of GHG emission reductions.
- Delivering capacity building regarding the development of energy surveys, energy information systems, and modeling of energy systems (LEAP, TIMES-MARKAL)
- Assisting in policy formulation for promoting RE sources.
